Homepage & Blog Setup

Step 1: Creating Necessary Pages

Begin by going to Pages › Add New. Then give your page a title i.e. "Homepage" and hit "Publish". Repeat this step for the blog index; name this page "Blog", again hit publish.

Step 2: Setting Front Page & Blog

Once your Homepage and Blog Index has been created, navigate to Settings > Reading, for example:

Under "Front page displays" select "A static page (select below)", then under "Front page"> locate the Homepage you just created, and under "Post page" select the Blog page, for example:

Troubleshooting

I can't find the Homepage or the Blog page in the dropdown?

Make sure that you have created these page. Refer to Step 1.
